Why do you need DLSS with a 3090? That beast should exist able to run anything out right now native. But to answer your question probably no Sharpening. Quality shouldn't be that degraded with information technology set to "Quality" just it'due south all personal preference. Play effectually with information technology to encounter what you like.

4k 144+ fps with raytracing? I'm not an expert but i could see that being tough for a 3090 to achieve consistently.

I tin can't speak for OP, but sometimes I merely adopt the DLSS look vs how standard AA looks.
You have some good hardware there, choice of sharpening value is to your choice, every bit to when you would want to bump up the level of DLSS, I guess if you accept an 8k display this is going to be very useful!

That'due south correct - I just ran the benchmark and my RTX3090 comes in effectually 80fps in 4K and everything at max (as well every bit DLSS quality, RTX and HDR).
I am a noob and have no thought if that value should be 0 or more.
I run a Widescreen 3840x1600 (native)
So should information technology be more than 0?
Move it around and notice out which you like. Yous might not similar max sharpening and y'all might prefer more minimum.

Considering information technology's on personal purpose!
Try and cull what yous like.

DLSS has been shown to requite performance while making the epitome actually look improve than native so no reason not to.

3090 user hither too. I did not change that setting. Got lx FPS (vsync on 60Hz monitor) at 4K Ultra with RTX maxed out and DLSS on (quality Mode).

There is no recommended number that's why.
Only for a guide: If you're cross-eyed gear up information technology to 110, if your optics are closer together set it to 55.7. If you lot have 1 middle set it to max. If you have blurry vision become some spectacles then set it to 95.
Thank yous all for the recommendations.
Even at 100 information technology isn't over-sharpening the image that I can see (halo'ing)
I set it at 95.
